It Started With Orange

Orange has always been my color—vivid, retro, and just a little nerdy. It’s bold like red, but friendlier. More “let’s do this” than “watch out.”

When I set out to create a kit for the everyday emergencies women face, I knew exactly what to do: take the classic first-aid design and swap the red for orange. The “She’s Got This” kit was born, and so was Orange Life Kits.

What We Make (And Why It’s Different)

We create thoughtfully curated kits for life’s moments—big, small, and everything in between. Celebrating someone? We’ve got you. Supporting a friend through something hard? We’ve got you. Treating yourself because Tuesday was a lot? Definitely got you.

Here’s the thing: we’re not interested in throwing a candle and some fuzzy socks in a box and calling it a day. Every kit is built around a real purpose, with items chosen because they actually matter—not just because they look good on Instagram (though they do that too).

The Person Behind The Kits

I’m Kelly. Before Orange Life Kits, I founded See Jane Work, a brand that was featured in over 100 media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Inc., Real Simple, Oprah Magazine, and Better Homes & Gardens. That experience taught me what it means to create products people actually love — not just products that look good on a shelf.

Orange Life Kits is the next chapter of that same philosophy: thoughtful, purposeful, and made for real life.

I’ve spent my career in e-commerce and public relations, but my real passion has always been preparedness, organization, and finding products that are as beautiful as they are useful. I love the feeling of being ready for whatever comes—and I wanted to share that feeling with others.

Orange Life Kits combines clean design, premium materials, and skilled craftsmanship to create pieces that feel both practical and a little bit nostalgic. The kind of things that make everyday life feel just a bit more intentional.
